Facility hazards can damage, move, expose, or transform a player. Learn hazard families and room context instead of memorizing one permanent coordinate. Updates, event states, and previous player interactions can change what is visible.
Hazard index
Crystal and puddle procedure
As a Human, keep distance until the object is identified. If testing, use one contact in a controlled server with no item or Raytraxian interaction. Record the resulting current UI name.
Crystal color can be altered by lighting or events. Do not publish a form from visual color alone. Puddles can also be difficult to see while moving backward.
Water and fin procedure
Flooded Area contains community-reported Shork-related fins and several exits. Scan the route before crossing. If testing a fin, record normal or event state and separate the contact from another player’s attack.
Do not infer that every fin produces the same Shork variant. Event forms such as Melon Shork are tied to a different state in community documentation.
Barrels, wearables, and props
Toxic Barrel is also named in transmogrifying item documentation, illustrating the overlap between map hazard and item. Record whether the current interaction is contact, pickup, wear, use, or destruction.
Orange Bucket, Fedora, Hazmat Suit, Shades, food, flowers, fruit, soap, slices, and event props can appear harmless while having transformation behavior. Use Transmogrifying Items before interacting.
Combat and geometry hazards
Backward retreat
Look at the floor briefly before crossing clutter, fins, puddles, or drops.
Knockback edge
Do not fight with an uncontrolled drop behind you when a weapon or ability can displace.
Narrow connector
Leave room for teammates and avoid body-blocking during recovery.
Open room
Choose an exit before committing; multiple approach angles can turn a safe item pickup into a trap.
Event-state hazards
Power Outage and Blackout can lower safe barriers, disable electronics, open doors, stop buttons, and reduce visibility or UI information. A normally safe boundary may no longer work. Seasonal events can add temporary objects.
Confirm the state through several cues and shorten routes. Do not rely on a permanent timer. Re-test a hazard under normal power before deciding it was permanently changed.
Hazmat Suit checks
Community sources report protection from many hazards or transmogrifying objects and a Hazzy-related infection exception. Test environment, item, and player conversion separately. “Most hazards” is not complete immunity.
Hazard record
Write room, landmark, object, event, starting role, action, contact count visible, result, recovery, server date, and confidence. Unknown exact coordinates or outcomes stay blank.
All hazard locations and effects are community reported or corroborated from Kaiju Paradise documentation checked August 13, 2026. Exact map pins, transformation counts, damage, and immunity are not guessed.
Failed hazard test
If an object produces no visible result, check event, starting role, protective equipment, prior transformation progress, and whether the model is scenery. Rejoin and test one identical object without another player nearby. If the result differs, record both server contexts instead of averaging them. A hazard can move, rotate, or be consumed, so room and landmark are more reliable than pixel coordinates. For a drop or geometry risk, report the safe approach and recovery route rather than encouraging repeated falls.
For hazards near valuable pickups, describe how to inspect the item without crossing the dangerous surface. If protection appears effective, test only the stated hazard and avoid generalizing to player conversion. Keep screenshots focused on public game geometry and do not include private chat. When a seasonal object disappears, preserve its historical room and event label but remove any claim that it is currently available.
