Kaiju Paradise Raytraxian Combat Guide

Fight as a Raytraxian with safer approaches, grab timing, ability checks, teammate pressure, Human weapon reads, and event routes.

Raytraxian combat rewards entry timing and team pressure more than a straight chase. Read the current form’s action bar, force a Human to commit a weapon action, enter during recovery, and leave before a second Human turns the exchange.

Read your form before fighting

Confirm the Raytraxian name, body size, common actions, and unique abilities. Community pages use broad terms such as Grab, Attack, Slug, Thrash, and Swipe, but exact labels and availability can differ. The current interface is the authority.

Test movement through one doorway and around one sharp connector. Larger bodies can be easier to see or route differently. A form with a pursuit or ranged tool should not be played exactly like one with only close pressure.

Use Raytraxian Abilities for a current working classification and How to Become a Raytraxian when you need to reproduce a form.

Approach a ready Human

First identify the weapon and whether it has just been used. Community guidance reports a visible cooldown and that many weapons can interrupt a Grab. Do not walk through the front of a Human who has a ready action and space behind them.

Approach through cover, from an angle created by a teammate, or after the Human swings. If the recovery is unclear, stop outside expected reach and force another decision. A failed grab can be more costly than delaying the entry.

Human state
Raytraxian plan
Abort when
Weapon ready
Use cover, teammate angle, or ability pressure to draw the action.
The Human keeps a clean line and another Human arrives.
Weapon recovering
Enter with the shortest reliable action and track the exit.
Recovery ends before you reach valid range.
Human isolated
Cut off the strongest exit instead of following every turn.
The route opens into a teammate group or safe control point.
Teammate pressure
Enter from a separate angle after the Human commits.
Both Raytraxians stack into one swing.

Use Grab as a commitment

Grab is most reliable when movement is constrained, the weapon action is unavailable, or the Human is focused elsewhere. Avoid opening with Grab at maximum visible range. Confirm the current form’s animation and recovery in a private-server practice session.

After connecting, track nearby Humans. A rescue can interrupt the sequence. Your teammate should cover likely rescuers instead of overlapping the same target. If the attempt fails, retreat through a known connector while actions recover.

Coordinate abilities and body pressure

Unique abilities can create entry, pursuit, ranged pressure, or control. Community documentation associates Kaiju with Ion Beam and goggled Nightcrawler with Pummel and Pursue, but exact values are patch-sensitive. Use the current cooldown and result rather than memorized seconds.

Stagger actions with teammates. One Raytraxian forces movement; another covers the exit. If everyone activates at once, the Human can escape while all tools recover.

Door control

Stand where you threaten the exit without blocking your teammate’s approach or trapping yourself on geometry.

Recovery cover

After one form commits, the other watches Human rescue angles until actions return.

Target switch

If a second Human exposes a cleaner route, communicate the switch rather than splitting pressure silently.

Disengage

Leave when multiple ready weapons gain a clear line. Preserving the form and regrouping can be the winning choice.

Fight through events

Power Outage and Blackout can change barriers, doors, controls, visibility, and available forms. Darkness helps conceal an approach but also hides room edges and teammates. Learn the normal route before relying on an event advantage.

Confirm event-exclusive acquisition before waiting for a form. Power Outage and Blackout rosters are community corroborated and can change. Nightcrawler’s goggle route and mutation route should not be assumed to produce identical tools.

Practice without inventing stats

Run ten controlled exchanges in a private server. Record the form, Human weapon, room, starting distance, first action, result, and escape route. Do not publish damage or timing from one attempt. Repeat after a fresh server update.

The close-range kit, weapon interrupt behavior, named ability examples, and event pressure are community reported or corroborated, checked August 13, 2026. This guide intentionally avoids unsupported health, damage, range, and cooldown values.
