A strong Human route preserves choices. Keep a known exit, a ready action, enough distance to read the next approach, and teammates close enough to help. Damage matters, but surviving a chase and denying a conversion often matters more than finishing one isolated target.
Prepare before leaving a safe anchor
Name the room, two exits, and the facility state. Inspect your current item or weapon, including cooldown and durability. If you cannot explain what an object does, leave it. Crystals, puddles, fins, barrels, wearables, and consumable-looking props can be transformation risks.
Decide where you will retreat before crossing an open room. The fallback should lead to another choice, not a dead end or a barrier that drops during an outage. Use the Facility Map and Hazard Locations to build a route from named landmarks.
Choose equipment by escape value
For a weapon, compare start-up, reach, recovery, control, cooldown, durability, and replacement access. Community guides report that many weapons can interrupt a Grab, but this requires correct timing and contact. A second Raytraxian can punish the rescue attempt.
For a recovery item, identify use time and movement restriction. Heal after creating distance or reaching cover. For light utility during Blackout, decide whether visibility helps more than the item’s sound, animation, or position reveal.
Short recovery weapon
Useful while learning because a miss leaves more room to retreat. Verify current reach rather than relying on model size.
Control weapon
Use to rescue or make space. Record whether the result is knockback, stun, ragdoll, or only a hit reaction.
Recovery item
Carry when you know where it can be used safely. Do not wait until the opponent is already in grab range.
Unknown item
Do not equip or consume it during a chase. Identify its current name and transformation status first.
Move with teammates without stacking
Stay close enough that one teammate can interrupt pressure, but leave enough space to avoid one action catching the whole group. Use room names for callouts. “Flooded Area west exit” is actionable; “here” is not.
When a teammate is grabbed, check your weapon readiness and the other opponents before entering. Attack from a clean angle, then create space. Do not continue a long combo if the rescued player needs an exit.
If a teammate touches a transformation object, be ready for an immediate team change. Confirm the name or visual state rather than assuming they remain Human.
Read and punish approaches
Watch the Raytraxian’s line, body size, teammate support, and active ability cues. A straight approach can be met with a prepared weapon if the action is ready. A covered or delayed approach may require retreat instead.
Swing for a purpose: interrupt, make space, protect an exit, or rescue. After the action, reassess cooldown. Repeatedly pressing attack during cooldown removes attention from the map and can lead directly into a Grab.
Adjust for Power Outage and Blackout
Power Outage can disable electronics and lower the safe-zone barrier according to community documentation. Blackout can open doors, disable buttons, reduce names, health, or Omen information, and add fog or near-total darkness.
Shorten your route. Keep the last confirmed connector behind you and avoid crossing open rooms based on visual memory. Do not assume a normally protected boundary still works. If using a flashlight or torch, test the current effect before relying on it.
Protect currency and valuable items
Many carried items are community-reported as temporary and can be lost on death, infection, leaving, trashing, or breaking. If you are carrying something needed for a shop turn-in, crafting plan, or Golden Weapon route, prioritize a safe return rather than another fight.
Tokens and Credits are different balances. Confirm the current Bandit interface before spending. Private-server rewards may differ, so a practice route is not automatically a farming route.
Human review checklist
- Do I know the room and two exits?
- Is my action ready, and what happens after a miss?
- Is the nearby pickup safe for a Human?
- Can a teammate help without both of us being caught?
- Did the event change barriers, controls, or visibility?
- Am I protecting a valuable carried item or only chasing damage?
