Kaiju is a prominent crystal-backed Raytraxian associated with the game’s title and the Crystal Chasm route. Community documentation describes it as a larger form with an Ion Beam-style unique ability. Exact health, damage, cooldown, and transformation counts are omitted because the underlying page is update-sensitive.
Community-reported acquisition
Blue crystal contact in Crystal Chasm is a commonly documented Human route. Another Kaiju may also be involved in a direct infection route. Confirm the current room label, normal or event state, exact crystal, and resulting UI name.
Do not touch several crystals and another player in one test. Approach one source, record the result, and rejoin before repeating. Event states can alter crystal appearance or available variants.
The Crystal Chasm guide covers orientation and safe Human routing.
Confirm the form
Look for the current name and crystal-backed large-body presentation, then read the action bar. A costume or event appearance can change colors. Use the displayed form identity rather than visual memory alone.
Navigate a large body
Test doorways and sharp connectors before chasing. A larger model can be easier for Humans to track and can feel different near railings, corners, and narrow passages. Use open sightlines when the unique tool is ready, but keep cover for recovery.
Do not block teammates in a doorway. Hold an angle that forces the Human toward another Raytraxian, then enter after the weapon action is spent. If multiple Humans gain a clear line, disengage instead of trading through every swing.
Test Ion Beam
Community sources name Ion Beam as a Kaiju ability. Start with no target and observe activation, aim behavior, movement, visible path, and cooldown. Then use one consenting target at marked distances. Test whether walls, doorframes, or elevation block it.
Record hit reaction separately from damage. A visual beam reaching a target does not guarantee the current server registered the same result. Do not publish exact values from one attempt.
Combat plan
Open line
Use ranged pressure only after checking cover and the Human’s next exit.
Door pressure
Stand far enough from the frame to avoid geometry and let teammates pass.
Weapon recovery
Enter after a Human commits, not while a ready weapon controls the line.
Event reset
Recheck crystals and abilities when Power Outage, Blackout, or a seasonal state changes the area.
Bestiary and skins
Use the current Bestiary entry to record times became, kills, conversions, and unlock state. The official Compendium badge validates completion of the overall Bestiary but not one Kaiju formula.
Kaiju costumes belong in Raytraxian Skins. Community examples such as Flaming Kaiju can change appearance or effects; they should not be treated as a new base stat set without live evidence.
Kaiju acquisition, body behavior, and Ion Beam are community reported or corroborated, checked August 13, 2026. Exact stats, contacts, range, damage, and cooldown remain unasserted pending current controlled tests.
Kaiju route troubleshooting
If blue crystal contact does not produce Kaiju, verify that the room is Crystal Chasm, the object is interactive, you began Human, and no Hazmat or other protective state changed the result. Test outside an event, then during the intended current event only if documentation calls for it. If another Kaiju is involved, separate direct player conversion from the crystal route. After transforming, compare the displayed name and Bestiary rather than relying on body color. For Ion Beam, a visible effect that stops at geometry or passes through a model without a registered result should be logged separately. Repeat in a fresh server before calling the route removed or the ability broken.
Keep one known doorway and one open sightline in mind before testing. This makes the result useful to players without turning a controlled ability check into an unsafe public-server chase.
