Kaiju Paradise cosmetics include appearances for Raytraxians and weapons, with acquisition paths tied to crates, the Bandit shop, crafting, events, or older limited availability. Choose cosmetics by the current preview and compatible base object. Do not assume rarity means stronger combat stats or that a screenshot proves an item is still obtainable.

What a skin can and cannot tell you
Community documentation generally treats weapon skins as statistically equivalent to the base weapon. Some skins may alter visual effects or sounds, which can change feedback without changing damage, reach, or cooldown. Test the base mechanic separately from the cosmetic presentation.
Raytraxian costumes can recolor a form and, in some documented cases, change ability visuals or audio. A costume name does not imply a new Bestiary entry or a different acquisition route unless the current client shows that distinction.
Rarity describes a collection category, not guaranteed combat value. It may influence crate presentation, crafting rules, or perceived scarcity. Do not translate a rarity color into an unverified percentage.
Cosmetic record fields
Raytraxian costume workflow
Start with the base form shown in the current interface. Open the costume or skin view and record the exact display name. Then check whether the source is visible: event objective, shop, crate, owner condition, or another requirement. If the only evidence is an old community gallery, label the appearance historical or community reported until it can be selected now.
Community examples include named variants such as Flaming Kaiju, Tiger Catte, and Steamcrawler, along with seasonal appearances. The community costume page is marked outdated, so these examples are discovery anchors rather than a complete active set.
When a costume changes an ability color or sound, verify that the action timing and result remain the same before calling it cosmetic-only. Do not infer a damage or cooldown change from a larger effect.
Weapon skin workflow
Community pages document skins for weapons including Bat, Knife, Long Pipe, Machete, Bricks, Katana, Sledgehammer, and Crowbar. The compatible list can expand or rotate. Use the current equip panel to confirm that a skin belongs to the weapon you carry.
Before crafting or selling duplicates, compare name, rarity, compatible weapon, owned count, equipped state, and any lock or favorite control. Open the output preview. A historical same-rarity combination rule is not enough to risk a rare item when the live formula is unclear.
Crate decision checklist
Pool
Inspect every visible possible result and its compatible base. A crate title alone may not expose rotation changes.
Price
Confirm whether the current cost uses Credits, another currency, or a special event resource.
Odds
Use only percentages displayed by the current interface. Rarity distribution from an old page is not a live guarantee.
Pity
Record visible progress and reset behavior. Do not claim a threshold when the interface does not show one.
Duplicates
Check whether duplicates remain, convert, reroll, or feed crafting before opening multiple crates.
Availability
Confirm the crate is active now. Historical event crates can remain in galleries after their acquisition window ends.
Shop and crafting route
Community guides place the Bandit shop in the Spawn Room and describe Crates, Skins, Cosmetics, selling, and crafting interfaces. Navigate using current labels, because screenshots from before interface updates can place controls differently.
Plan purchases after opening the relevant index. If you want one Raytraxian appearance, verify whether it comes from a direct requirement rather than a weapon crate. If you want one weapon skin, confirm that its crate or recipe applies to the current base weapon.
Current availability rules
“Owned” and “obtainable” are different fields. A player can display a historical skin that no new player can earn. “Secret” in a video title can mean a hidden requirement, a newly discovered cosmetic, or only a presentation style. Treat videos as leads and reproduce the current path before publishing it as active.
No YouTube video is embedded in this hub because the current search results mix update-specific and seasonal skin discoveries, and none was necessary to explain the stable collection workflow. A current video can still be useful on a specific skin page after its game version and route are verified.
Evidence boundary
Skin names, compatible examples, broad Bandit shop features, rarity, crafting, reroll, and crate concepts are community corroborated from the Kaiju Paradise Wiki and current player guidance, checked August 13, 2026. The Raytraxian costume archive is explicitly outdated. Exact active pools, prices, odds, pity thresholds, recipes, and seasonal availability remain current-interface fields and are not guessed here.
Cosmetic patch check
Recheck one equipped Raytraxian costume, one weapon skin, one active crate, and one low-value duplicate workflow. Record compatibility, source, effects, ownership, and current availability. Keep appearance and mechanics in separate fields so a presentation update does not become a false balance change.
