Understand the two role loops
As a Human, survive, identify routes, gather useful items or weapons, stay near support, and avoid transformation hazards. A successful encounter can be one where you make space and leave; you do not need to chase every Raytraxian.
As a Raytraxian, pressure Humans, use your current action bar, coordinate with teammates, and avoid walking directly into a ready weapon. After transforming, pause long enough to read the form name and abilities. Your objective and safe routes changed with your role.

Learn a three-landmark route
Start in or near the Spawn Room and identify the Bandit shop as a stable anchor. Choose one distinctive connector and one destination such as Crystal Chasm or Flooded Area. Walk there without fighting, turn around at every doorway, and return by the same route.
On the second lap, name two exits in each room. On the third, add one fallback connector. The Facility Map uses this same method. It is more durable than memorizing a single static image because updates and event states can change barriers or visibility.
Avoid touching unknown crystals, puddles, fins, barrels, food-like objects, wearables, or colorful props while learning. Some are community-reported transformation sources. Use Transmogrifying Items before experimenting.
First Human equipment routine
Pick one weapon and test it in a low-risk situation. Observe attack start, reach, recovery, cooldown feedback, and durability separately. Community guidance reports that many weapons can interrupt a grab, but timing, angle, and a second attacker still matter.
Carry a recovery or utility item only after reading its current prompt. Many carried objects can be lost through death, infection, leaving, trashing, or breaking. Do not spend Tokens, Credits, crafting materials, or rare cosmetics until the current shop confirmation is clear.
First Raytraxian combat routine
Read the current form and action bar. Community pages describe common close-range actions including Grab and several basic attacks, but labels and behavior can vary. Use one short approach, one action, and one exit. Do not mash every cooldown while a Human holds a ready weapon.
Approach from cover or after a teammate draws the swing. If the Human misses, decide whether the recovery is long enough to enter. If not, reset. Large forms may struggle with doors or sharp turns that smaller forms use comfortably.

Read events before moving
Power Outage is community-reported with backup lighting, disabled electronics, and a changed safe barrier. Blackout can add darkness, fog, open doors, inactive buttons, and reduced interface information. When lights change, stop and identify the state before using your normal route.
Do not rely on a permanent event timer. Join time and server age can hide the transition. Use the current environment, banner, controls, and event-only objects as evidence.
